“Not one of us is perfect, no not one”; as the apostle Paul spoke to us, it’s a plain fact. There has not been anyone, before or after Christ that could change this. We all need to make the choice to be as Christ like as we can. He gave us examples for which to follow. By study of his life, we can get a very good look at the things necessary to do this. The question is, will we? Will we put on Christ? When the world looks at us, what will they see? Can we be living epistles, not using words but allowing our lives to be read by all who see us? This is the example that Christ himself used. Remember that at the time of his life, the New Testament, the gospels, and the rest was not yet a thought. They were all written because of His life. To put on Christ, is to put on a life, a very existence that shows Christ to the world. In our actions, our deeds, everything we do; as well as our words. When I need to remind myself about this, I go to the 13th chapter in 1st Corinthians. As you read the message, remember that Jesus is love. When we put on Christ, then perhaps the world will see the love that is Jesus.
